Processed Data and processing purpose

During the event, photos and videos will be taken, which will be used for reporting and documentation purposes and stored. They may be published via various channels (e.g. website, social media, intranet, magazines) and passed on to third parties (e.g. media companies). There will also be a live stream on video walls on site. Please inform the photographer if you do not wish to be photographed.

Data transfer to third parties

The photos and videos taken during the event may be passed on to third parties, in particular media companies. Third parties are defined as natural or legal persons, authorities, institutions or other bodies that are not the data subject, the controller or a processor within the meaning of the GDPR. The media company processes the transmitted recordings under its own responsibility for data protection in accordance with the GDPR. It decides independently on the purposes and means of further processing, in particular in the context of editorial contributions and media publications.

Legal Basis

The processing and disclosure of photos and videos is based on the legitimate interest of Wiener Linien (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR), as we have an interest in taking photos and filming events. Our legitimate interest lies in reporting on and documenting this event.

Deletion/Storage

In principle, your personal data will be stored for as long as is necessary to fulfil the respective purpose and, beyond that, for as long as statutory retention obligations exist or storage is necessary for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Processors

Wiener Linien uses hosting providers and technical service providers as processors.

Your right

You have the right to access and correct your data, and under certain circumstances to have it deleted, digitally transferred and its processing restricted. You have the right to object to the processing of your data. If Wiener Linien processes your data on the basis of your consent, you can revoke this consent at any time.
